Refunds and cancellations
TaraYatra uses a prepaid wallet. Here's exactly when money comes back to you. All refunds to your TaraYatra wallet happen automatically and appear in your transaction history.
Per-minute chats and calls
- Sessions shorter than 30 seconds are free. Nothing is charged.
- You pay only for whole minutes you were connected, rounded up and timed on our server.
- If a guide doesn't accept your request within 60 seconds, nothing is charged.
- If a session drops because of a fault on our side, write to [email protected] within 7 days and we'll refund the affected minutes to your wallet.
Booked sessions

Unused wallet balance
Wallet credit doesn't expire. If you want unused money you added yourself refunded to your original payment method, write to [email protected] from the phone number or email on your account within 180 days of the top-up. We process it within 7 working days, and Razorpay returns it to your bank in a further 5–7 working days. Bonus credit, referral rewards and Tara Coins can't be refunded.
Unhappy with a reading?
Readings are personal and we can't guarantee you'll agree with one. If a guide was rude, broke our rules or wasn't really present, report the session from the app within 7 days. We review the chat and will refund your wallet if the complaint is upheld.
Failed or double payments
If money left your account but your wallet wasn't credited, it is usually credited within a few minutes. If it isn't credited within 24 hours, Razorpay reverses it to your bank automatically within 5–7 working days. Write to us with the payment ID if you need help.
